Terms of Service
Effective date: August 26, 2026
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of MintC Stay (the “Service”), a guesthouse and hotel management service provided by MintC Inc. (the “Company”) at mintcstay.com, and set out the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the Company and its users.
Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms define the basic conditions and procedures for using the Service, together with the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the Company and its users.
Article 2 (Definitions)
“Service” means the lodging-operations management software the Company provides through mintcstay.com and related domains, including the occupancy board and booking management, rate and availability management, invoicing and billing, channel connections, and notifications.
“User” means a lodging operator who signs in to and uses the Service under these Terms, together with any staff members the operator invites.
“Property” means a lodging business unit — such as a guesthouse or hotel — that a user registers and manages in the Service.
“Guest data” means information about guests (such as names and contact details) that users enter into the Service to manage bookings.
Article 3 (Effect and Amendment of the Terms)
These Terms take effect when posted within the Service or announced by other reasonable means.
The Company may amend these Terms within the bounds of applicable law. Amendments are announced, with the effective date and reasons stated, at least 7 days before they take effect (30 days for changes unfavorable to users).
If you do not agree to the amended Terms, you may stop using the Service and close your account. Continuing to use the Service after the announced effective date constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.
Article 4 (Service Description)
The Company provides the following features: an occupancy board with room- and bed-level booking management, rate and availability management, invoice (statement) creation and issuance, synchronization of availability, rates, and bookings with OTAs (online travel agencies) via the Channex channel manager, and booking-change notifications.
Web push notifications are sent only when a user has explicitly enabled them on a device (opt-in).
Individual features may be added, improved, or changed to enhance the Service.
Article 5 (Accounts and Sign-in)
Registration and sign-in are handled exclusively through Google accounts (OAuth); the Company neither collects nor stores separate passwords.
You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure and must notify the Company without delay if you suspect unauthorized use.
The owner or administrators of a property are responsible for managing the permissions of staff accounts joined through the invitation feature, including granting and revoking access.
Article 6 (User Obligations)
You must not impersonate others or register false information.
You must comply with applicable laws, including data-protection laws, when using the Service.
Guest data you enter into the Service must have been collected lawfully; legal responsibility for its collection and use rests with you.
You must not interfere with the normal operation of the Service, including through abnormal automated access or the exploitation of vulnerabilities.
Article 7 (Data Ownership and Responsibility)
You own the property, room, booking, guest, and billing data you enter into the Service.
The Company makes commercially reasonable backup efforts to preserve data; nevertheless, you are encouraged to keep separate copies of important data.
Upon your request to delete data, the Company deletes it without undue delay, except where retention is required by law.
Article 8 (Provision, Change, and Suspension of the Service)
The Company offers two products. For MintC Stay, the lodging-operations management software (PMS) is provided free of charge and paid pricing for the OTA channel-connection feature is governed by Article 9. For MintC Stay Classic, the lodging-operations management software itself is a paid service, and its pricing is likewise governed by Article 9. If any other paid plan is introduced, the Company will announce it in advance and will not retroactively charge for features used without such notice.
The Company may change or discontinue all or part of the Service for operational or technical reasons; changes or discontinuations that materially affect users are announced in advance.
The Company is not liable for interruptions caused by events beyond its control, including natural disasters, power or telecommunications failures, and outages of cloud infrastructure (such as AWS) or external integrated services (such as Channex or OTAs).
Article 9 (Paid Service and Fees)
The paid services the Company provides differ by product, as set out below.
MintC Stay: the lodging-operations management software (PMS) is free of charge and the OTA channel-connection feature is paid. Fees are billed per property at KRW 129,000 per month for a monthly subscription (VAT included), or the equivalent of KRW 99,000 per month for an annual subscription (KRW 1,188,000 per year, VAT included).
MintC Stay Classic: the lodging-operations management software (PMS) is paid in its entirety. Fees are billed per property at KRW 64,500 per month for a monthly subscription (VAT included). No annual subscription is offered.
The Company issues an electronic tax invoice where the user has provided a business registration number, and issues a credit-card sales slip in its place otherwise.
If fees change, the Company announces the change at least 30 days before the new fees take effect; fees already paid for a period are not affected by the change.
Article 10 (Automatic Billing)
When applying for the paid service, the user registers a payment method (credit card).
The free trial is provided once per product (MintC Stay and MintC Stay Classic) and runs for 14 days from registration. If an account that has already used that product’s free trial registers a payment method again for the same product, no trial is given and the selected plan is charged at the time of registration; the amount is stated on the registration screen beforehand.
Once the free trial ends, the registered payment method is charged automatically, and charges recur automatically at the start of each subsequent billing cycle.
Users may cancel automatic billing at any time from the subscription screen within the Service.
Sensitive payment-method details such as your card number are held by the payment gateway. The Company stores the billing key needed for recurring charges (a payment-authorization token, not the card itself) and card-identifying information (card brand and the last four digits of the card number).
Article 11 (Service Restriction on Payment Failure)
If a payment fails, the Company notifies the user and retries the charge.
MintC Stay: if payment remains outstanding for more than 14 days, the Company may stop OTA channel sales for the affected property. Even in that case, bookings already received and new bookings continue to be received, and the lodging-operations management software (PMS) remains fully usable.
MintC Stay Classic: if payment remains outstanding for more than 14 days, the Company may restrict the affected property from creating, editing or deleting reservation, guest, item and payment records. Even in that case, viewing, printing and downloading previously entered bookings, guests and billing records remain available. This restriction lifts immediately once payment is completed.
Once payment is completed, any suspended OTA channel sales resume immediately.
Article 12 (Cancellation and Refunds)
Users may cancel their subscription at any time from the subscription screen within the Service. There are two ways to do so; they are mutually exclusive and the user chooses between them.
(1) Cancel subscription: automatic billing stops, and the user continues using the Service until the end of the period already paid for. There is no refund. This option is available on both the monthly and the annual plan.
(2) Cancel with refund: available only to users who have paid an annual subscription fee (MintC Stay annual subscriptions only; MintC Stay Classic offers no annual subscription, so this option does not apply to it). OTA channel sales for the affected property stop as soon as the request is made, the right to use the remaining period ends at that moment, and the Company refunds the amount calculated below.
The refund is the annual subscription fee paid, KRW 1,188,000, less the number of months used multiplied by the monthly subscription fee of KRW 129,000 (KRW 1,188,000 - KRW 129,000 × months used). Only whole months elapsed between the payment date and the request date are counted; a period shorter than a full month is not counted.
If that calculation results in an amount below zero, the refund is KRW 0, and the Company does not additionally bill the user for the difference.
Refunds are made, as a rule, by cancelling the original payment on the payment method used; where that is not possible, the Company transfers the amount to a bank account designated by the user. Depending on the card issuer's own process, this can take 3–5 business days.
For MintC Stay, the lodging-operations management software (PMS) remains free to use after cancellation. For MintC Stay Classic the software itself is the paid service, so use ends when the period already paid for runs out.
Upon a refund, the Company issues a revised tax invoice for any tax invoice previously issued.
Article 13 (Limitation of Liability)
With respect to the Service as a whole — including both features provided free of charge and the paid OTA channel-connection feature — the Company limits its liability to the extent permitted by applicable law.
The Company is not liable for damage arising from causes attributable to you, such as incorrect rate or availability entries or misentered guest data.
Absent willful misconduct or gross negligence, the Company is not liable for indirect, special, or consequential damages, including loss of business from cancelled bookings.
OTA synchronization depends on the proper operation of the channel manager and OTA systems; absent willful misconduct or gross negligence, the Company is not liable for synchronization delays or discrepancies caused by errors in those external systems.
Article 14 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
These Terms are interpreted and applied in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea.
Any dispute between the Company and a user in connection with the Service is subject to the competent court determined under the Civil Procedure Act of Korea.
Addendum
These Terms take effect on August 26, 2026.
